Tony Trischka
Tony Trischka is perhaps the most influential banjo player in the roots music world. His work has inspired a whole generation of bluegrass and acoustic musicians. His work is included in the films Foxfire, and Driving Miss Daisy. In 2007 he received the International Bluegrass Music Association Award for Banjo Player of the Year. His Double Bluegrass Spectacular received IBMA awards for the Recorded Event of the Year, Instrumantal Album of the year and a GRAMMY nomination.
