The Eye Clinic
10 AM to 2 PM Tuesdays
In 1999, Shepherd’s Table decided to meet another critical need of the Silver Spring community, opening an eye clinic to provide free vision testing, glaucoma screening, and prescription eyeglasses to those without insurance. Since the lack of sufficient health care is such a constant struggle for the homeless and poor, Shepherd’s Table has secured the services of Dr. Bernetta Davis who performed 476 examinations last year, distributing 345 pairs of glasses.
