The Healthcare Initiative Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support initiatives that will improve the health of residents of Montgomery County, MD. The Foundation was formed in 1973 as the Suburban Maryland Health Foundation.
MARPAT Foundation makes grants to organizations based in or benefiting the greater Washington Metropolitan area for projects related to education, healthcare, cultural affairs, and science.
In April 2007, Mobile Medical Care, Inc. will begin its year long celebration of forty years of service to the medically disadvantaged in Montgomery County. We ask you not only to recognize the past, but also more importantly to look to a future that enables MobileMed to continue its mission--to provide free or low cost quality health care to our community's homeless, low income, uninsured, and working poor in a respectful, competent, and compassionate manner.
Safeway has a long tradition of giving back to the communities we serve. Each year Safeway donates more than $110 million worth of food and merchandise to local food banks and hunger relief programs in communities throughout the United States.

The Spring Creek Foundation, Inc.
The Spring Creek Foundation, Inc. was established in 1996 as a private grantmaking foundation located in Washington, D.C. Its purspose is to fund organizations in the Washington Metropolitan Area whose goals and programs benefit the human environment by providing assistance to individuals and families in housing, employment, education, and emergency services.
