WISH LIST

Shepherd’s Table relies heavily on items donated by individuals, communities, schools, congregations, and businesses. These “in-kind donations” are supplemented by other items purchased from our fund of financial donations. In order to keep general operating costs as low as possible, it is essential for us to receive in-kind items that are in high demand. That is why we ask that you please read the following wish list, which includes items that are most often in short supply at our facility. We welcome donations of all kinds, but we are especially grateful to receive these targeted wish list items.

Food Items:

• Margarine or Butter
• Pepper
• Salad Dressing
• Hot Sauce (an item our guests love!)
• Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
• Canned Vegetables (large, #10 cans)
• Soup (cream-based or broth)
• Spices (large containers)
• Coffee
• Creamer
• Sweet-N-Low or Other Sugar Substitutes

Kitchen Items:

• Aluminum Foil (large industrial roll)
• Saran Wrap
• Paper Napkins
• Windex
• Industrial Can Openers
• Tide Laundry Detergent (powder)
• Metal Silverware (spoons and forks)

Clothing Closet Items:
We always accept donations of new and gently-used clothing and shoes. Please donate seasonal items and those items that will enhance the dignity of our clients.

• Other Medications (Note: The following medications will only be distributed to clients with a valid prescription.)

Deliveries of in-kind donations are accepted at Progress Place, 8210A Colonial Lane, Silver Spring, MD 20910 between 8:30 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. on weekdays and between 1 P.M. and 5:30 P.M. on the weekends.
