Beyond the Table will be temporarily suspended, Progress Place meals will be served twice a day, the dining room will be closed and meals will be served outside. Thank you for your understanding.

Food is at the core of our mission, and our daily meal program has provided meals every single day since we were founded in 1983. In 2012, we added weekend brunch meals, and when we moved into our current facility, we added breakfast and lunch meals during the week. Shepherd’s Table has two main meal programs:

As of January 4th, 2022, and until further notice, our daily meal program will provide two meals per day, Brunch and Dinner. Our hours are:

  • Brunch: 10:00 AM – 10:55 AM
  • Dinner: 5:30 PM – 6:55 PM

The hot, nutritious meals are provided at 8106 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910. All are welcome! Due to COVID-19, face masks and social distancing are required.

When Beyond the Table returns, the program will provide to-go dinner meals at the following sites:

Parkland Middle School, 4610 West Frankfort Dr, Aspen Hill MD, 20853. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5:00-6:00PM

Riverdale Elementary School, 5006 Riverdale Rd, Riverdale, MD 20737. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00-6:00PM

Due to Covid-19, face masks and social distancing are required. Meals will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.
