In 2023, Shepherd’s Table broke records by serving 180,442 meals, a 32% increase from the previous year, highlighting the persistent issue of food insecurity in our community. Through the generosity of donors, we strengthened our Social Services Program, ensuring essentials like hygiene kits and other items were readily available for clients. Inspiring success stories, like Rochelle’s journey from homelessness to employment and housing within six months, are proof of the impact of wrap-around support services. As we face continued need, we’ve reimagined our Beyond the Table program (BTT) to target more vulnerable communities by partnering with other organizations. We’re also eager and excited about launching our upcoming new program, Culinary Skills Training, which promises to equip participants with career opportunities in the food service industry.
